It is on the banks of the beautiful Leaf River and in the Petal School District, which is one of the top 5 school districts in the state of Mississippi. Petal City School buses drop off and pick up inside the park.

It is centrally located so it is easy to get to work in Petal, Hattiesburg, or Laurel. There is nice green space equipped with grills for picnics and cookouts. The Park is very family friendly and professionally managed.
